General Information

BBQs – Because the site is in a woodland area we cannot allow barbecues or fires.

Camping,  Caravans, Camper vans – Sorry but as this is a one day event there will be no public camping facilities. Please see the getting there page for campsites.

Children – We welcome children of all ages but ask that you do not allow them to be disruptive. We offer various activities to entertain them but the adult with them is responsible for them at all times.

Coronavirus notes – You will have your temperature checked with a forehead ‘gun’ on entry.
There will be sanitiser gel available at various locations. and toilets will be sprayed regularly.
Please observe social distancing where possible.
Please bring a facemask with you and wear it.

  Food & Drink – There are food and drink stalls on site and a bar serving real ales.
    Please support the traders.
 You may bring a picnic with you but for safety reasons please do not bring any glassware or glass bottles.

Disabled Visitors – We have facilities for people with disabilities including toilets and easy access to listen to the music on the main stage. The site is mostly flat and has tarmac roadways but access to the acoustic stage is up a slight grass incline. Battery charging mains sockets are available for electric scooters and wheelchairs, please bring your own charger. Car parking space is reserved in the arena for Blue Badge holders.

Lost People  – The lost and found point is in the control & merchandising tent next to the First Aid tent. Please ensure children in your care are fully supervised at all times on the festival site and at children’s sessions, events or entertainments.

Lost Property – This should be handed into and collected from the control & merchandising tent. Any property not claimed will be kept for one month then disposed of. Please email us with any inquiries.

First Aid – We have a high quality first aid team on hand. You can access first aid in the tent situated next to merchandise. In an emergency dial 999 telling the operator that you are in the Nowton Park Walled Garden, Nowton Park Nursery, Nowton Road, Bury St Edmunds IP29 5LU.

Dogs – Well behaved dogs on a short lead are welcome on site but please control them and clean up after them. Owners will be responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dogs. If your dog does not have a friendly temperament, please don’t bring it.

Seating – Straw bales will be supplied for you to sit on. You are welcome to bring your own seats if you wish to sit outside of venues. Please be prepared to fold down your chair if the area becomes crowded.

Drinking water – taps are available on site.

Leaving Site – We would encourage you to leave as soon as you can at the end of the day so that we can clear up the site.

Parking – There is ample free parking for cars adjacent to the festival site See Venue Layout. N.B. This is not the main Nowton Park car park for which there is usually a charge. Camping is not permitted in the car park. Please remember we can’t be held responsible for any loss or damage.
