The Somali Road Attic Band
The Somali Road Attic Band – that’s Linda Baddeley (vocals), David Bartlett (vocals, guitars, harmonicas and percussion) and Richard Byers (vocals, guitar) – grew together out of the regular nights run by the Bury Folk Collective.
This heartfelt West Suffolk-based trio are passionate about harmony singing and hearing the sounds they make together on guitars, harmonicas, the triangle and spoons. They are also dedicated to having fun playing the songs they love – in this case, an eclectic mix of covers that includes Dylan, Ewan McColl, Richard Thompson, America and the Decemberists. This is folk music from people who have sung and played a lot of folk music – expect an unmissable, unforgettable take on some great songs.
